Hai thur! This is super late, but better late then never! :DDDDDDD

So we started the day with breakfast at sea. Before that, we had to
catch our breakfast. Cool huh? Actually, the fishermen did the catching part and we merely did the diligent devouring. :D There wasn't a lot of fish, but there was a
huuuuuuuuuge one which we called
Manny Pacquiao. Why? Because we're cool like that! Haha! Ahem. Seriously though, that fish refused to die... It kept on flip-flopping and, consequently, getting scales all over us.

Doesn't my dad make a cute fisherman? Haha! The fish was so fresh it was practically sushi. I mean, the internal organs were still intact when they cooked it and it was all sticky. Haha. Still delish though. Pattisoba, had loads of eggs since she was fish-intolerant.
Nemo is proud of you, Pattisoba. So very much.

Afterwards, we prepared our stuff for the much-awaited visit to Paradise Beach.
YESSSSS. It's this semi-secret beach behind Punong and it is
pristiiiiiiiiine. Not a speck of tacky resorts or even a lounge chair in sight for at least a mile, just the beach and water, water, water.
And some palm trees.
Getting there is
no joke. Unless you're a baby and you prefer the quicker boat ride, you have to trek through untamed bushes. Oftentimes, they are
THORNY bushes. I kid you not. Last time we were there, the plants didn't even reach my head. Now, it's
a freaking forest. Imagine finding your way through a
maze of leaves and rock, while being
attacked by the unforgiving sun. >___<
But the beach! Oh, the beach. It's all worth it in the end. Now, imagine being on a beautiful beach without having to see anyone else dotting the sand like an infestation.
Tres magnifique. Not even the sound of civilization is there to bother you.

Yes, we had camwhored like crazy and we're not ashamed to admit it.Not wanting to ruin the relaxed and refreshed feeling, we road a boat back to Punong.

Punong is the place where my dad wants to retire (or so he says). It's where he has these fishponds for bangus and tilapia, so there was
more fresh fish for lunch! I wouldn't be surprised if any of my friends had
meat withdrawal after that. We had raw shrimp, shark (definitely not raw!), sea cucumbers, bihod, and some other stuff I can't remember. Hahaha. We also had peaches!
MY PEACHES. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ok, inside joke.

There was this
adorable duckling that had been
hatched by a hen, so it follows her around, waddling behind its chick brothers and sisters. So beyond cute! And sad.
Did I mention sad? Whenever they get near a body of water like a puddle, it goes straight for it, so that it can splash around and have a drink. That's why it always has to run after its family when it realizes that its getting left behind. :(

Anyhoo! We headed for Mojon again for much needed baths. I had fun with the camera's color whatsit (excuse my idiocy with these things), so that I could document everyone's sunburns. Hahaha.

We had halo-halo(!) back in Bantayan Proper, got some henna tattoos, and bought our Bantayan Bebes bracelets before visiting Nanay. We hung out in her house for a while,
randomly fangirling in between awkward moments of silence. Hahaha. I don't know why that happened. xD We did fool around with my sable hair brushes, which I accidentally brought.

Then, it was off to my other aunt's house. WOOHOO.
More relatives. We watched the procession, had some binignit, and generally lazed around before my mom brought us back to my lola's house.
FOOD! AGAIN! Lord, you're a genius.
FOOOOOD. Hahahaha. Dinner was delish because it
always is at Mama Tita's house. It was rather funny how my friends were all lined up against the wall since the chairs had been pushed back. They looked like students... with FOOOOD! Yeah, I have to
stop doing that.

Since it was their last night in Bantayan, I took random pictures with all of them, but only after my cousins attacked me with tickles of doom. I swear, it looked like we were having fun, but I was dying. I was rolling on the floor, trying my best to escape.

Then, it was home sweet home. <3
We rubbed each other down... with sunburn relief gel. HAHAHA. Only my legs were sunburnt for some reason, so I was half fair and half
tomato until a few weeks ago. I took more random photos (with Hippo this time!) to commemorate our
last night together and in a few hours we were in dreamland again. :)

Morning! Dang. More random photography, more breakfast photos (I swear, it was the most documented happening!), and more cries of
"dunwanagooo".

On our way to the pier, we Jracked some more, we even had Pattisoba and Egg joining in during the "Rokkeugo". HAHA! Crazy, I tell you. We literally rocked the car! I think it was the Jelly Bellys that fueled our not so brief encounter with insanity.
Then it was tata for the Bantayan Bebes! They were on a boat straight for Cebu before I knew it! :(

auf Wiedersehen!
