Some of the Fingals + Mary-san revisited Bantayan, but this time they arrived during Holy Week. ^___^ Of course, it was a different experience. I think the only big activity that we did again was going to the secret cove behind Punong... but that's for another post!
They arrived really late! I started wondering if they were going at all. haha. Meg was the first to arrive and... I can't remember who came next. I think Milezy. Anyhoo, we watched a documentary called "The Great Happiness Space", which is about real-life hosts in Japan. Then, we headed off to bed. We had to wake up reaaally early for our long trip.
3 AM: I was surprised to find Paul awake! Nyaaaaaa. *suspicious* He had been fiddling with the kitchen knife the night before. WAHAHAHA. Joke lang.
We decided to wake the others up Eito style, which meant flashing a light in their face while whisperscreaming (It sounds like really loud whispering. Ok, I made that up.) "Ohayou gozaimasu!!!!"
THEY DID NOT WAKE UP. hahaha. Wow. We had to flash the light repeatedly.
Then, Manong Edwin whisked us off to Hagnaya. I have to admit that it was a very loooong whisking. xDDD I slept for most of the trip, but I'm pretty sure that the others were singing Kanjani8 songs nonstop after they woke up.
The boat trip was uneventful. We had to stand because there weren't any seats left. Ah well... At least, my friends were there to help me survive that.

!The first thing we did was eat breakfast at Mojon as per usual. :) Eggs and sausages! But only eggs for the vegetarians. *u*

After which, we dragged our butts back to Sta. Fe for a much needed dip in the clear blue water.
HELLOOOO, Solarcaine Aloe Extra Burn Relief Gel!!! Hahaha. Miles, Paul, and Meg got pretty decent sunburns before we left for lunch at Mama Tita's bakery.

So much activity and it was still the first half of the day! After arranging our belongings like good girls (and boy), we slowly drifted off to sleep... How can you not fall asleep when the sea breeze is lulling you? We were in Kiambakiki by the time this happened. Iz where ah liiiv. ^__^
I don't remember what time we woke up, but I remember that my relatives started filling in the empty space when we did.
DESPI LOVE! XDD While my many, many cousins got on a boat for some deep sea swimming, we headed for the beach for some... nonsensical flapping around and camwhoring.

We danced Zukkoke while the sun was setting. Hahaha. My cousins said that our performance left their mouths agape. I'm not too sure if it was in awe or nausea. Maybe a little of both. ;)
Watch this to understand:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOMFClm3bbAAnyhoooooooo. Dinner was on a boat... anchored to the shore. Hahaha. Exciting, much??
Something remarkable happened.
The two vegetarians ate meat!!!! Two people who have sworn off soda for like three years drank Coke to their heart's content!!! It's what we call
TINTAL. According to them, Bantayan is the Island of Sin!
WHAT?! hahaha. And during Holy Week, might I add.
Ok, enough babbling. The anchor was raised after the meal. Yay. Idiots no more. XD My dad took us for a moonlit ride along our side of the island. It was awesome... and when I say moonlit, I mean "HOLY COW THAT MOON IS FREAKING BRIGHT" kind of moonlit. I guess my description wasn't very beautiful... It was so bright, it could have been day... Only darker...... and blue. *u* See what happens when I use proper adjectives?
I used flash, so you can't really see it in the photos. :P
TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR DAY 2!!!

Oooooh. What happened next?lol. I fail. Anyhoo, this is only Day Uno of our 2008 Bantayan trip. 70++ photos, not counting the ones that were too scandalicious! hahaha. Kidding. Not counting the ones where we look like old people. Old... diseased people...
